Yesterday, on Thursday 23rd of April, Rimu my class went to Lincoln Primary for Our first Manual session of Term 2. My Teacher thi term is Mrs Scott. This term I am doing Foods . This week made tostaie cups and baked eggs and ham. They both tasted great and they were both easy to make for breakfast. It was a fun first session and Foods is my fav so far.

These are our Baked eggs

Yesterday, on Thursday the 12th February Rimu class went to our first Manual session at Lincoln Primary. When we got their we all sat down on the ground next to Springston primary and we split into four groups-Science, Textiles, Workshop and food tecnology. I am in Workshop and my teacher is Mr Bowers.

This term we are making case for for speakers. I am putting speakers into my old shoes. Pretty much all morning we were drawing what we are going to do. One of the funny thing of the morning was when jack fell off his chair he was trying to show something when he was leaning back on his chair. Manual was pretty fun all up.

Manual Week 2

In our second trip to Manual our class was continuing our speaker box making. I discovered that i didn't have to do anything because my box was ready made otherwise know my shoe. So this week I helped jack make his box. He was making his out of normal wood. This week was fun. Next week we should be soldering.

Manual-Week 3 Update

Today at Manual I put a hole through my shoe so next week I can put the speakers in my shoe. Today I also helped jack (again). I learned that Mr. Bowers likes me cleaning. I think that my shoe speaker will look the  best because it is a unique idea and everyone has is just making a box.

  1. It's great to see what you are up to at manual. Are you allowed to use that circular saw?? Hope you don't end up only being able to count to nine and a half like dad!!

  3. Hole in your shoe! So cool. And different. Where are you going to keep it when it's finished?

  4. Awesome idea Blake! Sounds like speaker making is super fun. But you cleaning? That's a second or third.... Hehe. If you could design another speaker what would it be? A sock? A rugby ball? A gumboot?
